The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute in Urawa (Saitama) has begun accepting applications for their annual training program for JETs who are interested in becoming Japanese language teachers.
The program features a week-long workshop that builds on participants' experiences in Japan to discover new ways of teaching Japanese, and runs from March 21, 2012 (Wednesday) to March 27, 2012 (Tuesday). The course is free of charge.
Note that as the workshop is conducted entirely in Japanese, participants should have an JLPT N2-level equivalent command of the language.
